TACOM List of Qualified Tire Products
The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) manages the Cooperative Tire Qualification Program (CTQP), which is a voluntary program designed to help ensure tire quality and performance. The program produces the Cooperative Approved Tire List, which is an approved list of tires and manufacturers that have passed qualification testing and/or technical reviews to certain ASTM standards. The retreaders qualified as of April 2001 are listed below.
Following is a list of manufacturers and brands of retread tires currently approved by TACOM. Because qualification testing is done on a continuing basis, tires might have qualified for listing after TACOM published the list. The manufacturer of those tires will have documentation of the qualification, known as a Qualification Certification Form. Government agencies can verify a manufacturer's qualification by contacting the Administrator of the CTQP:
