White House Conference on Cooperative Conservation
The White House Conference on Cooperative Conservation in Saint Louis,
MO brought together over 1200 interested parties from many walks of life
to discuss case studies and ideas to enhance how working together leads
to better stewardship of our natural resources.
Called for by Executive
Order 13352- Facilitating Cooperative Conservation, the conference
proved to be an excellent opportunity to share success stories and have
dialogue on what works, and what does not, when it comes to bringing
together the many players, from federal to local levels, to address
conservation issues. Many of the outputs are already available on the
website, and a full set of proceedings will be available in a few
months.
