John Howard submitted to President Bush his resignation as Federal Environmental Executive
Today, John Howard submitted to President Bush his resignation as
Federal Environmental Executive, effective June 11. He and his family
will be returning home to Austin, Texas. He stated, "It has been a
privilege and an honor to have served with so many in working to improve
the Federal government's (and America's) environmental stewardship, and
I believe we have made substantial progress. I wish all of you the best
as you continue this important work with OFEE, through Ed Pinero, Dana
Arnold, and the OFEE team."
